Welcome Baby G!

Just wanted to take a second to gloat about this perfect little girl in the picture below! This is Gabriella Rose, AKA baby "G", Gabster, Gabber, cutie pie, princess (it goes on). She was baptized and warmly welcomed to follow God and to lead a life of faith.  Matt and I were overjoyed when my brother and sister in-law asked us to help lead and encourage her in that faith for the rest of her life by being her Godparents. We are so honored and excited.



I should also mention that this required yet another trip to San Diego, darn. We had a horrible time in the 75 degree weather, and the beach is always so boring, and it's like pulling teeth to get the kids to want to go to Sea World. Needless to say we got through it.

I should also mention I am defiantly not a sarcastic person.

She Turned 7!

SEVEN, she did it again... who does she think she is trying to get another year older on us. In all seriousness, she is SEVEN. Like, what happened to 5 and 6? Let me tell you what 7 looks like on my little Pripri... Just a few things about this girl 1. Guess who her favorite person is...duh. Micah 2. She is soooo much more compassionate and caring than I could have ever imagined. 3. She might be 7, however her attitude screams teen! She is sensitive but oh so brave and she is never afraid to take on new adventures! 4. Her best friend is still, you guessed it, Maggie. 5. Right now she is playing softball (second season) and is having a ton of fun. Cheerleading is still on her brain, but for now, we will stick with this. 6. Peace Out to Another School Year

It's so true what they say, time flies, so be carful not to blink too hard. I love seeing these first and last day pics side by side.  The growth always stuns me bit and sends me into meltdown mode. I see them everyday, why do I feel like I am missing them physically grow?! My only indicators are the thinning of dimples in their cheeks and on their little hands. We say peace out to 1st and 3rd grade today, and Maddux says peace out to life in general. I am always excited for the next step, but I trend lightly as it just means another dimple is fading. 1st and Last day of the 2016-2017 School Year
