Micah-ism # 73 & Brotherly Love

After watching an episode of Doc McStuffin (Disney Jr.) this is the convo I had with Micah...

Me: Micah are you going to be a doctor like Doc McStuffin when you grow up?
Micah: Ughhhh (with rolling eyes) Mommmmm, I already told you, I am going to be a Paleontologist Deer Hunter!
Me: Ohhh sorry, what's that consist of?
Micah: (again with the eye roll...which has got to STOP!) It's a person who digs up dinosaur bones and shoots deer in the lungs at the same time.
Me: Oh, okay?

On another note... I was going through the pics on my phone and came across this gem! Is this what you call brotherly love?

...I probably should explain so that you don't think my son is actually choking Kapri...well he kinda is, but not really?
I was asking them to sit on the steps to take a picture with their cousins and Kapri was not interested and wouldn't look at me, so Micah took it upon himself to make her look at me.

Hello & Goodbye to Sum•mer

sum·mer 1 ˈsəmər/ noun 1 . the warmest season of the year, in the northern hemisphere from June to August and in the southern hemisphere from December to February. I just wanted to give myself a second to really think about this thing called summer. Anyone else think this definition is just a little bit vague? It's that time of year where we get all excited to have ZERO schedule, endless electronics, the chance to travel and cram in all of the fun you planned for all year long. She Turned 7!

SEVEN, she did it again... who does she think she is trying to get another year older on us. In all seriousness, she is SEVEN. Like, what happened to 5 and 6? Let me tell you what 7 looks like on my little Pripri... Just a few things about this girl 1. Guess who her favorite person is...duh. Micah 2. She is soooo much more compassionate and caring than I could have ever imagined. 3. She might be 7, however her attitude screams teen! She is sensitive but oh so brave and she is never afraid to take on new adventures! 4. Her best friend is still, you guessed it, Maggie. 5. Right now she is playing softball (second season) and is having a ton of fun. Cheerleading is still on her brain, but for now, we will stick with this. 6. Peace Out to Another School Year

It's so true what they say, time flies, so be carful not to blink too hard. I love seeing these first and last day pics side by side. The growth always stuns me bit and sends me into meltdown mode. I see them everyday, why do I feel like I am missing them physically grow?! My only indicators are the thinning of dimples in their cheeks and on their little hands. We say peace out to 1st and 3rd grade today, and Maddux says peace out to life in general. I am always excited for the next step, but I trend lightly as it just means another dimple is fading. 1st and Last day of the 2016-2017 School Year
