Look Up In The Sky...

Quick story... Micah has a Super Man PJ shirt that he LOVES, and every time he wears it he HAS to yell with both arms in the air (as if he is getting ready for lift off) SUPERMANNNNNNNNN! The shirt is blue... So, now every time he puts ANY blue shirt on he has to go through the routine. This morning he didn't want to change out of his PJ shirt (a monkey one) so I pulled out a random blue shirt to distract him...sure enough he ran around his room screaming and excited to wear the SUPERMANNNNNNN look alike shirt! Stinkin' kid... Side Note: This week he is transitioning into the 2 year old room! So far so good, on Monday he will permanently be in the 2 year old room...:SIGH: he is getting so big :)

Birthday Fairy's gift to Micah

This year the birthday fairy wanted to welcome Micah to the 2’s by giving him the worst sickness he’s had yet. Let’s back track… Sunday 11/8: We had Micah’s birthday party on Sunday the 8th because on his actual birthday we had our biggest ASA tournament of the year as well as a national youth baseball tournament…so we were a little booked! The theme was SpongeBob so we had a SpongeBob piñata. When it was time to hit the piñata Micah buckled, he couldn’t bring himself to hit SpongeBob, (he hit him once then cried) I should have guessed that when I saw him kissing and hugging the piñata right before we hung it. He loved blowing out the candles on the cake (which was SpongeBob)and let Mom take it away to cut it (I didn’t want to traumatize him, we just beat the crap out of SpongeBob the piñata , so ...

Trick o' Tweet

Halloween was AWESOME! We went over to our friends' sister's house this year and it was so much fun. They close the street off so that the neighborhood doesn't have to worry about cars and kids, good thinking as I noticed the HOARDS of kids going door to door. Mom and Dad joined us (well dad stayed back to watch football) but Mom was in for some wine, walking and witches! Micah went as Nemo and I went as a lion (half Lion...see pictures below). I wasn't sure if Micah would get the concept but I thought we would just go with it when we got to the first house. Had I known that the first house was going to be the scariest I probably wouldn't have stopped there or I should have at least explained to Micah that spiders that are bigger than him don't exist…stupid decoration! Anyway we stopped at the first house and gave Micah the routine, he held out his bucket and just as we were going to leave the spider (the one bigger than him) mechanically came down at his eye le...
