Weekend = Playtime

This weekend was all about the kiddos (then again, when isn't it?) Since Mom has been working in Marana we have been doing more things up that way... for those of you who don't know "Marana" it's just another town about 20 min north of Tucson. We did the Pumpkin Patch last weekend up there, and this weekend we celebrated "Founder's Day". They had the cutest little carnival! Picture carnival rides, games, ice cream, face painting, local bands, FOOD...all on a smaller scale. It was also a BIG day for Micah... He has never liked being tossed in the air, refuses to get on Matt's shoulders and when he sees marry-go-rounds, he shakes his head and turns the other way; he's not much for thrill! So we were PUMPED when he wanted to ride all the rides! I also have been wanting to take them to the Children's Museum.  The Museum had Micah at "hello"... he saw the dinosaur and it was love at first sight.  Kapri was just happy to run

!pumpkins!

I wanted to see how many times I could say pumpkin...pumpkin.

Actually we got back on the 11th of October but it has taken me a few weeks to recover from the trip, I needed a little space between me and NYC, and now that I am feeling whole again I am ready to revisit our trip. When Matt and I were invited to my college teammates wedding in NYC there was NO WAY I was missing it. For one, she’s amazing and I was soooo pumped for her, and 2… it’s NYC! My only discrepancy was to take the kids or to leave them. Well when we asked my parents if they would be willing to take them while we were away, it turned into “sure we will watch them… in NYC!” So there it was the making of a weeklong family trip to the big apple. For those of you who know how type “A” I am, I am sure you could imagine how overwhelmed I became in thinking of all the things we were going to do while we visited, so when mom and dad said we
