No News?

Yesterday when picking up Micah from school I asked his teacher how he did for the day and she told me that he had a rough day. She went on to say that he was pushing, spitting and not listening, which is not normal for him, but he's 3 and he likes to test his limits every few months, apparently he was due. This was our conversation in the car... Me: How was school today buddy? Did you have a good day? Micah: Yep, I was a GREAT listener, can I watch the Dragon movie? (How to train your Dragon) Me: Ms. Kaylyn says you weren't a very good listener today and that you pushed some of your friends and that you were spitting? Micah: MOM.... I didn't do ANY of those things (as he's shaking his head in disbelief that she would even fathom that he would do such a thing...and shaking his finger) Me: Really? Are you sure? Did you maybe do those things just a little bit? (squeezing my index finger and thumb together to make a small gesture)? Micah: Mom, maybe I did those thin

Play Ball...

Over the past few weeks I have been trying to find my motivation for this life, what’s my next step, how am I going to motivate the world, what am I going to do to make a difference? I always see people on TV (Oprah) telling their story of how they raised money for a family in need and then they went on to raising money to help thousands of families in need, or the women whose child died because of an illness and now they have raised over a bajillian dollars to go towards the cure, or the people who started collecting books for a local library that turned into another bajillian books to help stock thousands of libraries across the country. What can I do, how am I going to make a difference in this world, where do I go, how do I start, and what the heck do I have to offer anyone anyway? It’s funny how life yells at you, how God gives you all the tools, but you can’t hear him because you are so caught up in trying to find the BIG game changer, you want to make a difference for the world

Bisbee!

Grrrr I have been anxiously awaiting to post about our Memorial Day weekend… FINALLY! Matt plays for an independent league that travels back and forth from Bisbee and Tucson, so this last Memorial Day was the Bisbee trip and we decided with the Monday holiday we would take advantage of the cooler weather. We asked Mom and Dad to join us for the trip and we excitedly and surprisingly had our Tia Anna and Don (Dad’s sister) join us for the trip too. I first should add that my Dad was born and raised in Bisbee so the trip for me is always fun as I get to see where Dad’s mentality of morals with the “small town, big dreams” attitude mixed in with hard working people that need no reminder of how to be humble as they live the story book life of traveling to school and back up-hill…both ways. Matt found a great place called the Clawson House, that if you are from Bisbee you know this place to be “the big house on top of high school hill”. To Matt and I… a place that fit the 3 families! I
