Don't We Get A Dress Rehearsal?

We did it, we managed to have a little BGSU class reunion where we could ALL be there! Libby was nice enough to let us and our kiddos have a BBQ at her house in Michigan...(right now I am wishing I was still there in the 77 degree weather instead if this 103 degree weather!) The get together was awesome, catching up, talking about families and babies...it was just like old times on campus, we didn't skip a beat...except for the massive amount of kids running around. Instead of a tasty beverage in our hands we had babies, instead of wiping up beer off the floor it was spit-up...maybe a few things have changed! We are truly a family and I love that we all still keep in touch and really... I couldn't be more excited and proud to have these girls in my life. We have all seen eachother at our best, worst and we can always count on each other to be there when we need it (insert cheesy song from Full House here!). I can't wait till the next time, more babies??? Stay tuned!!! As f

Chuck George, Chief Meteorologist at KOLD News 13, AKA my FAVORITE local Celebrity, in fact, my favorite celebrity period. I know I am weird for not having a national renowned actor or actress as a favorite, but I am just not that interested, I am a news junkie. Anyway back to Chuck… as a 30th birthday gift (to ease the pain of turning the big 3-OHHHH) my mom (with the help of a few others) set up a meet and greet with Chuck in studio. So yesterday Matt and I got the chance to see how Chuck prepares for the 5pm news hour. I was a bit star-struck when he came to the front to meet us, but that only lasted a few seconds as he was busy and needed to get stuff done (there was an earthquake in the Washington area). We followed him over to the studio where he does what he does best… maps, maps and more maps with plenty of fun facts thrown in the mix. We got to watch the news in studio and during the taping we got to go into what I believe is the control room where the “magic” happens. I reall

August... big birthday month for the Tiggas household! We celebrated mine and Matt's birthday, but this year, and for the rest of our lives, I was most excited to celebrate Kapri's 1st birthday, August 20, 2011. This year has gone by so fast and I keep looking at the kids wondering where the time has gone! Every milestone that she has passed is such a bitter sweet moment for me as I am so proud of her but still don't want to let go of that little ball of joy that could fit her whole body on my chest when she slept. Oh happy birthday Kapri, you’re walking and growing so fast and the one sound that I will never get over is you saying "mamma" for everything. I love how excited you get when you see us, you try to run but your little footsteps are too fast for your body. You love to point at everything that interests you and you talk gibberish to show me that you want it, or that you want me to look at it. Micah makes you laugh the most, and your giggles are contagi
