Weekend = Playtime

This weekend was all about the kiddos (then again, when isn't it?) Since Mom has been working in Marana we have been doing more things up that way... for those of you who don't know "Marana" it's just another town about 20 min north of Tucson. We did the Pumpkin Patch last weekend up there, and this weekend we celebrated "Founder's Day". They had the cutest little carnival! Picture carnival rides, games, ice cream, face painting, local bands, FOOD...all on a smaller scale.

It was also a BIG day for Micah... He has never liked being tossed in the air, refuses to get on Matt's shoulders and when he sees marry-go-rounds, he shakes his head and turns the other way; he's not much for thrill! So we were PUMPED when he wanted to ride all the rides!

I also have been wanting to take them to the Children's Museum.  The Museum had Micah at "hello"... he saw the dinosaur and it was love at first sight.  Kapri was just happy to run around freely to touch, feel, throw, investigate what the place had to offer.

Overall fun weekend!

Hope you all have a very Happy Halloween! Can't wait to show you pictures of my little cupcake and adorable scary dinosaur!

Hello & Goodbye to Sum•mer

sum·mer 1 ˈsəmər/ noun 1 .  the warmest season of the year, in the northern hemisphere from June to August and in the southern hemisphere from December to February. I just wanted to give myself a second to really think about this thing called summer. Anyone else think this definition is just a little bit vague? It's that time of year where we get all excited to have ZERO schedule, endless electronics, the chance to travel and cram in all of the fun you planned for all year long. Then when this so called "summer" ends, you feel bamboozled, like someone just waved that 4th of July pie you went to that party to specifically eat, right in front of your face only to look...not eat. Like seriously, it was here, right in front of my face, and now... it's gone. Now, now we pack lunch every night, we get our homework in (which I don't even understand), we figure out which parent is going to be the taxi for the day, we actually have to ...

She Turned 7!

SEVEN, she did it again... who does she think she is trying to get another year older on us. In all seriousness, she is SEVEN. Like, what happened to 5 and 6? Let me tell you what 7 looks like on my little Pripri... Just a few things about this girl 1. Guess who her favorite person is...duh. Micah 2. She is soooo much more compassionate and caring than I could have ever imagined. 3. She might be 7, however her attitude screams teen! She is sensitive but oh so brave and she is never afraid to take on new adventures! 4. Her best friend is still, you guessed it, Maggie. 5. Right now she is playing softball (second season) and is having a ton of fun. Cheerleading is still on her brain, but for now, we will stick with this. 6. When she laughs, you can't help but laugh with her. Her laugh alone will make you light up. 7. Her favorite things include: Unicorns, Bear (her pink one), Unicorns, Mermaids, those fake glasses (see pic below), her American Girl Doll (pic above), Uni...

Regulators...

How cute is this shirt?! Maddux is the only one in this household that I still have a say in what he wears, so for now, I will take full advantage! Shirt:  Saturday Morning Pancakes
